well this is my second journal in as many days. but i just wanted to ask everyone about surprising twists from places and characters that they never expected.

I'm supposed to be revising right now, but as i've been to the dentists today and they've mucked about with my teeth i don't really feel like it. I've also sat through the car drive to suffolk and REALLY don't feel like working right now. So instead i've opened a word document and continued the story i started in the journal before last.

But the story has twisted under my hands, and i've ended up creating not only an extra character, but also a new race who pick up the main character as he lays in the desert, exausted and an inch from death. Bu-bu-bu-boom!

So what i really wnated to ask, is for any readers of this journal to mention a time where their characters have surprised them, or if they're created something they were really proud of completely be accident.
